The Tinubdan sa Kauswagan Cultural Troupe of the Municipality of Tuburan, Cebu defended its title as it once again bagged the championship of the Sinulog Sa Kabataan Sa Lalawigan 2015 that was held at the Cebu City Sports Center last January 10.

They were followed by the Carcar City Division in second place, Hugpong sa Kulturang Kahumayanon of Danao City in third place and Cordova National High School in fourth place.
When asked what qualities an individual needs to possess to qualify as a Tuburan dancer, Shera Mae Ypo and Carla Joy Alcantara, who are both part of the Tuburan Dance Troupe, responded that discipline and respect are the qualities needed to become a part of the group.
They said that discipline is a great aspect to build and creates a strong team while respecting each other is their foundation to maintain the team’s unity.
It took them almost three months of preparation to practice and execute the routines properly and produce a performance that could exceed not only the expectation and the standard of the judges but also of the viewers.
Their devotion to the Senor Sto. Niño motivates them to do their best and being proclaimed once again as the champion is a great honor and blessing for the contingent.
