In an event where countless people attend, it’s only normal to not see everyone. Try to look around and see things a little closer. There, you’ll realize that you haven’t noticed everything yet. These 5 people are those you probably missed during the solemn procession.

1. The Gate-Keepers

Oh well, you probably did notice them! Who wouldn’t? They’re the ones keeping you from the procession itself! But did you even notice those tired eyes or considered that they were just doing what they were assigned to do before you snarled at them for being “inconsiderate”?

2. The “Sundalo sa Ginoo”

This is what these volunteers fondly call themselves. They were the ones who facilitated the gate-keepers to keep everything smooth even before the procession arrived. Helping the church as much as they can without asking for anything in return, these one of a kind soldiers are truly amazing.

3. Modern Day Mr. Fredricksen

Taking in tow red and yellow balloons, these Cebuanos’ way of living gives smiles to adult and children alike.

4. The Mountain Climbers

These people who would do anything just to take that one good shot, climbing roofs included.

5. The Sto. Niño Kalokalike

Many children were also dressed up by their parents to look like the child Jesus. In the picture is the three-year-old Alshen Conahap who is starting to become a devotee and a model even with her heart ailment.

Amazing how many people we failed to consider, right? Hopefully, we give time to appreciate others too in the hope of sharing God’s promise of love to them. Pit Senyor!
